The Great Commission

Downloading started first from God.
On tablets were written the
Words / rules to follow, but
Nobody knew to
Listen to God.
Only Son
Arrived.
Died.

Upload
Pentecost.
Lit fire in saints.
Our hearts open to
Accept the Word of God.
Direct our upload to world.

Use everything God revealed to
Plant holy seeds in the youth so
Later they remember,
Only Jesus saves.
Away worldly
Devotion!

Decide.
Oh,
Who will
Now share Word?
Let it out and
Overflow to next
Anxiously awaiting
Dying, sinful human.

Where do you see yourself in the chain of the Great Commission? Is the Word of God being downloaded into your mind and heart? Or are you ready to upload all you have learned about God and the saving power of Jesus?

Christian, know that it is common to be in constant motion downloading and uploading the Word of God. Sow the seeds of God’s Word into the young, and as they approach their own day of Pentecost, they will be ready for the Great Commission.

Matthew 28:16-20

Now the eleven disciples went to Galileo, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them.  And when they saw him they worshipped him, but some doubted.  And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.   Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.  And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
