Late Night Visitor – Grief is Like…
See the first grief post here.
Grief is like…
the annoying kid in grade school who sticks their finger in your face without making bodily contact and repeatedly says, “I’m not touching you!”
Grief is like…
being in a scary dream and screaming for help, but you have no voice.
Grief is like…
being unable to control a sand timer, but you know that when the sand runs out, grief will be over. Somehow the timer gets flipped over just before the sand runs out.
Psalm 42:5 (NIV)
Why, my soul, are you downcast?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God.
Thank you for your words…just what I needed to hear this morning 💙
