iBelieve

Jesus said to her, " I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" She said to him, "Yes, Lord, I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, the one coming into the world." John 11:25-28

What Did You Call Me?

Daily Prompt: All About Me

Explain why you chose your blog’s title and what it means to you.

I wrote my very first blog on June 5, 2010 and my husband was my first follower. (Thanks, Thweetie!) I knew I wanted to incorporate a Bible verse in each post, but I first had to come up with a name for the blog.

Not wanting to copy anyone else, my first blog title, Enitsirk-kristinE, was a play on my name and I used the Bible verse about the first being last and the last being first as my tagline. Although I share my life stories and observations, my blogs steer toward God and His message. On November 20, 2011 I changed the name to I Believe. I wanted it to read iBelieve but the title font is set for lower case lettering and it was not working out as I had planned.

Thank you, WordPress.com, for being here as I co-create this blog. Yes, co-create, because oftentimes it is the Holy Spirit that whispers an idea in my head and I cannot wait to hit the keyboard to share what He wants you to know.

WordPress.com is constantly evolving. One of my favorite features is to know how far my blog travels on the World Wide Web. From the last quarter, I appeared on computers in all of these countries…

United States
Canada
United Kingdom
Switzerland
India
South Africa
Australia
Philippines
Germany
Indonesia
Columbia
Spain
Malaysia
Japan
Singapore
Brazil
Thailand
Mexico
Poland
Norway
Greece
Peru
United Arab Emirates
Hong Kong
Saudi Arabi
Panama
Italy
Jamaica
Russian Federation

Wow! God is good and He wants to be known, wouldn’t you agree? I could not have reached this many countries on my own. I pray the words of this blog be a blessing to you; wherever you call home.

Acts 19:20
In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power.

  2. Yes, God is good. I like the title especially when you put your name on the I Believe in God prayer. I still remember that, and that’s really the prompting of the Holy Spirit. Have a blessed day.
