What’s the 11th item on your bucket list?

Here is the eleventh item on my bucket list:

It’s blank.

The Bucket List is the film from 2007 starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman who, together escaped a cancer ward to go do things they wanted to do before they died. I have not seen the movie, but I assume this is where everyone got the idea to make such a list. I have been blessed with pretty good health so far. Maybe if I had a terminal illness such as these men in the movie, I may submit a new blog which contains a bucket list. Or would I? Read on…

I think the bucket list is just another way to try to avoid regretting aspects of life. I do not need a list for my regrets as I confess them daily. I regret conforming to the world. I regret not being more bold in my faith and sharing how God has touched my heart at one of the lowest points of my life. That time when I truly did not deserve the loving arms of Jesus and the Grace extended to me. Mercy showered on me not for anything I did, but simply because he loved me right where I was, in the middle of my pathetic life.

I do not have a bucket list. If I can live with a Galations 5:22 heart, I will never need a bucket list.
